Nicholas Vansant was baptized January 1, 1712. He is the son of Jacobus Gerritsz and Rebecca van der Grist.[1]

The baptism date suggests that Nicholas was likely born in Southampton. Perhaps his family remained at the church in Bensalem even after relocating to Southampton (given the source below - online reference desired)?

Nicholas married Mary Brittain May 18, 1744.[1]

Nicholas Vansant died May 1, 1801, in Southampton, PA.[3]

Nicholas will abstract dated 16 May 1800. Letters Test. to son-in-law Nathaniel Beileau and Jacob Rhoads. Proved in the Court of Common Pleas May 1810. June 1801 names wife Mary to have the estate for life then to be sold, names son Nathaniel and daughter Rebecca Beileau and grandson Isaac Bieleau...[4]
